@gamingonlinux Playstation did the same thing to me way back with movies I had purchased directly from them.
With modern consoles you don't "own" anything, you're just renting a license to content for as long as they feel like making it available.

@gerowen @gamingonlinux worst thing is that with current reliance of plenty of games on 0-day patches, this is valid for games on physical media as well. It makes game preservation efforts really painful.
