i keep seeing social ads from microsoft with the narration “here’s a hidden gem in NYC: the Microsoft store on fifth avenue is a great place for gamers” and i can’t describe the deep sadness i feel when a company calls their own retail store a hidden gem

@samhenrigold @joesteel The always empty Microsoft Stores across the US were an embarrassment for many years. Their consumer strategy built around Windows Phone was doomed, closing the stores was the only rational thing to do. Leaving the NYC store open was silly, but it’s certainly hidden 🙁
