@ifixcoinops TBF I was one of those people for years until one day when I happened to purchase a Canon and discovered that it pretty much just worked in Linux without a single shred of effort on my part, unlike my old Brother which did require some screwing around to work with Linux.

So I now recommend Canon printers.

But not before laughing at people asking for a printer recommendation. It's a damn shame I even need to have one at all.
