Gregory's Server@ifixcoinops do you remember Aiwa? It was a secondary brand of Sony that they used for cheaper versions of their products. But they allowed the Sony brand to get cheaper, selling crap on the expensive name. Now there is no Aiwa and the Sony name is devalued.
@panimu @ifixcoinops Aiwa was initially a company Sony had a decent share in, then they bought them out and basically used them as a brand for Young People (my current Minidisc recorder is an Aiwa and does the job but clearly has some features missing compared to Sony models) then Sony sold them off and the rest is history
point is modern Sony sucks for anything other than their phones and maybe their TVs
