@smallsees @mike @ifixcoinops my last inkjet (before I bought a Brother laser printer!) was an EPSON, and it was in fact my last inkjet ever for this reason.
Sure, my printer has a "waste toner" bucket, but I highly suspect that it's there to keep excess toner out of the printer instead of serving as a mystical place where all my expensive consumables go.
