No, they actually built him one for free.
Not as dramatic, but clearly demonstrates how drastically overpriced these things are.
but at the same time i can say from experience that there is a lot of time going into building these things, fitting them individually.
plus the materials cost quite a lot because they have to be tested rigorously beforehand, since the Orthopedic Mechanics who build id will be legally responsible if anything goes wrong with the wheelchair.

@duckwhistle@Easydor@MikeDunnAuthor the bigger problem i see is insurances trying to pay the least amount possible and thus trying to reject every request they can.
all while their shareholders take huge profits into their own pockets :/
