but at the same time i can say from experience that there is a lot of time going into building these things, fitting them individually.
plus the materials cost quite a lot because they have to be tested rigorously beforehand, since the Orthopedic Mechanics who build id will be legally responsible if anything goes wrong with the wheelchair.

at least in Germany it is like this.

@duckwhistle @Easydor @MikeDunnAuthor the bigger problem i see is insurances trying to pay the least amount possible and thus trying to reject every request they can.
all while their shareholders take huge profits into their own pockets :/
