@Setok this drawing is from an illuminated manuscript about the Bible book of Revelations, regarding a false prophet. it really sank into folklore, there are a lot of stories that involve a good person being blessed with diamonds and pearls dropping from their mouths when they speak and a bad person being cursed with frogs and snakes. so I'm pretty sure that there's a good chance the Finnish expression is absolutely connected to the same source!
