I think more important than the 'money' or 'without reading' aspect it's the "he who writes the contract": consumers have no choice as to the contents of the contracts they enter into. @john_philip_bell @april @lcamtuf People as a society have the power to make a choice. But the collective will isn't there. And, yes, individual consumers have only poor choices. @john_philip_bell @april @mdarweesh I didn't sign any contracts with OpenAI, Google, or Facebook that would give them rights to what I post on my blog. @john_philip_bell @april @lcamtuf @mdarweesh I am reminded of a NY Times article of a murder at least 50 yrs ago. The article said the woman was attacked in her kitchen with a “craving knife.” |
