Gregory's Servermoving to a new place and the last guy took the Fios ONT box. so now i just got this loose fiber optic going into my living room with no means of connecting it. on the upside, if you stare directly into it, it temporarily blinds you which provides minutes of entertainment.

  @samhenrigold I had removed my original ONT years ago and when I most recently resumed FIOS service the new ONT was the size of a router! I was so pleased!!!  @MuseumShuffle since it wasn’t screwed into the wall, he probably thought it was the same as the router? no idea but they’re sending A Guy on monday to plug in a box and then I’ll have to pay $200 for that labor. @samhenrigold that sucks so bad. When I got rid of cable TV, I had to get a new ONT and installer asked me if I was sure because I couldn’t get TV back if we proceeded. That’s kind of the whole point, sir! @MuseumShuffle But think of all the valuable broadcasts you’ll miss if you don’t have cable TV! Like…uh… gimme a minute |
