 @mgrzeca The irony is that we have Metro v1 using "full-width" but scaled down images without a full-size preview/modal on click and we tried to address the complaints people had of the aspect ratio being distorted in Metro V2, so we constrained the aspect ratio to fit the screen with a full-size preview/modal on click. You can now view the original image and aspect ratio by tapping on it, we have never displayed the full aspect ratio before. 6 comments
 @mgrzeca Thank you, it really means a lot to me that you're happy with the updates to Metro 2.0. There are few people that have been as vocal as you, and I admit I did take it personally to the point that I added the feature to preserve the old UI and frustratingly I was not able to meet your expectations the first few updates. I'm so happy that you are happy, I'm sorry if I came across mean, and I'm sorry it took so long to fix. Pixelfed wouldn't exist without people like you, thank you ❤️ @pixelfed Many people expressed similar opinions on this matter, but I was probably the most annoying and consequent in whining about what I didn't like in Metro 2.0. I'm sorry you were so upset about this. I promise to correct my awful behavior :) |

@pixelfed I'm beginning to get the impression that the irony is mainly that we just don't understand each other :) As I mentioned before, I'm not a native speaker, my English is so rusty that I'm probably expressing something other than what I think I'm expressing. As soon as I finish my work, I will try to describe again as simply as possible what I have been complaining about since the release of Metro 2.0 :)
