They do not care about endangering the public. The voters supporting them also do not care about endangering the public. The innocent people killed in mass shootings are simply collateral damage. Assholes vote for assholes. @IanDSmith Is the corollary here that if I am in favor abortion (choice), birth control, and sex ed that I must also then be pro-choice on guns? As much as I love pointing out logic flaws in conservative thinking, I am concerned this one paints those of us who think guns should be far more heavily regulated into a corner. @mlibby I don’t think logic really comes into it. It’s about socially constructed conceptions of morality.
