Looks like the otters loved us not being home.

Two of them were hopping on and off of the deck all night. Both of us couldn't sleep so we got up every hour to chase them off (they're rly very persistent).

It's possible they've made a toilet/bed of our gennaker bag which we store on deck under the dinghy. Haven't gone out to check yet(not sure i want to), but I can see it in part from the forward hatch, and it looks like they've flattened out the bag, shaped it for comfort :ohnobubble:

Went to check. Thankfully, not a toilet. The cover reeks of otter butts and fish, but it's not too bad :>. Thx otters for not making too much of a mess.

Just talked to our dock neighbor, he was also gone for a while, and it seems like the otters made HIS boat into a toilet 😅...

If you find yourself in that situation again and don't want to get up all night long, consider leaving a radio on on the deck.
Choose the station to adjust the genre/human voice ratio to the desired level of annoyance. ;)

@NicholasLaney they were just used to us not being here, they'll stop coming now that they know :>...
