@FediFollows But how can I know if I want to follow them if I canβt see their existing posts? Is that a peertube limitation or just how things are federated?

@mycelium @josh @FediFollows @newpipe cool, so, after finding a gem like https://peertube.tv/w/4QTcvrDrQFi44XrkZyUaLi a local search made the video show up in the account view of @thenerdyneko on indieweb.social because a member, me, made the server aware of it. Nice. π @josh @josh @FediFollows you can always see thrir full profile in the web browser, if you go to their site. @josh To add on to the other reply, it's just how things are federated in general. If you view a Mastodon account that your server doesn't know about yet, that's also blank. Same with other kinds of Fediverse accounts too. To view full content you can hit the three dot menu and open in browser / open original page / whatever wording your app of choice is using. |
@josh @FediFollows try "open in browser" to see their older posts
