I feel sorry for all the news companies that launched research for stories on “Who is Tom Emmer?” only to have him drop out of the race for Speaker in four hours. Conservatives on both sides of the Atlantic are getting effective at creating new measures of time! A Scaramucci (or Mooch) is 11 days. A Liz Truss is 44 days. And now an Emmer is four hours! (“Man, it's only 1 pm? I have a whole Emmer before I can kick off from work!”) 11 comments
As I frequently use crock pot, this new time frame is useful. One Emmer on high and two Emmers for low. Even faster--the speed of thought. Hmm. Should I put my name in for Speaker? (Brief pause, 3-4 seconds.) Naaah. Waste of time and effort.  😂🤣😂🤣 Whole new ways of measuring time based on right wing failure.... Oh, the schadenfreude!! 😂🤣😂🤡🤡🤡   @augieray we MUST develop the Nanomucci before the UK can invent the Microtruss! "He's not conservative enough." ??? When are we going to see some of these people thrown under the bus decide to caucus with the Dems so we have a functioning government? Republicans are not a serious option. |
