 Interesting. Megaboosters fill my Home timeline fast: I have to scroll by their boosts to see other posts. The new feature overcomes the problem by acting like a temporary mute, not showing these boosts in my TL, But ... the Home TL holds a maximum of 400 or 800 posts (including muted posts). Megaboosters not only push other posts down, they push them out entirely. 10 of my follows posting 40 posts each leave nothing else in "Home". That may still happen with the new List feature? 2 comments
Yes, one can mute boosts only, but the 400-count still includes all muted boosts, even if I don't see them.The posts that have been pushed out of my TL by those boosts are gone. I can find them only by actively visiting the profiles of the people I follow, eg through lists. It's a design flaw. We can live with it, but we have to be aware of it. Hence I am cautious with my own boosts, conscious that each of my boosts pushes out another post in each of my followers' timelines. |

You can mute an individual’s boosts and only see what they post themselves, if that feature interests you.
