I'd also unfollow some hashtags that are clogging up your timeline too but I seriously need to start unfollowing people and using this lists feature more! @theappletree @hopeward

@weirdwriter @theappletree I haven’t followed many hashtags, so that’s thankfully not an issue.

I’ve had to unfollow some people… and sometimes just disabling boosts and only seeing what they actually have to say themselves is the right choice.

Tbh it literally took me years to get used to Twitter already. It felt like I was just posting graffiti in my backyard. Mastodon is going quicker with that experience. I'd say just explore & enjoy, choose a few good follows, close to your interests, give it some time & let it come naturally. 😉
