@rolle it’s kinds still beta and always DevOps
His work that I was liking before he tried to build a twitter sanctuary was Sentinel Bot.
Also Spoutible isn’t quite as Mayo heavy as Mastodon

yeh spoutible as such did not start out as his work & I think it was a deeply questionable platform choice - but he's done a lot of work on it since.
I find Chris to be a really problematic dude in a lot of ways, but I still *like* him for some reason & I would like to see the platform doing better than I suspect it is.

I would love to have seen Spoutible try to carve a new way to be federated. Like, publish & consume AP on its own terms, & not ask forgiveness for anything, let the bans happen. It would have provoked a lot of interesting conversations & there's no particular reason it couldn't work, folks just don't try it. Chris has the chutzpah to do that, if he'd wanted to.

@FeralRobots @rolle we get along . I still spout there just not as much as tooting here.
Haven’t quite found the “G” spot for it yet …took five months to find it on Mastodon and now my experience here is eternal hriliu.
I think l’ll keep Bluesky as it reminds me of how twitter was at its peak
