True story: Back in the day, I coerced twitter into settling on the #FF tag over the annoyingly long #FollowFriday. (Space was a premium back in the 140s). And also repurposing it to mean a more general recommendation to "Follow Friends" any time. The original story is on my website (which I just discovered is down.
