@thememesniper 🤓 um actually boot0 (assuming wii/wiiu) isn't "verified"
usually the first stage of the boot process is implicitly trusted and stored in immutable (and hidden) storage like mask rom

(Arcade vendors aren't better, with encryption, SlapSTIC bank-switching bullshit, Capcom and their evil CPS suicide batteries, just to name three.)

And oh... even after everything stated above, those developing emulators eventually crack the stuff anyway.
