@talia_christine I have no doubt it's legitimate. But I try to think about the motivations behind using such headlines given how commonplace it is. The only thing that makes sense to me is it gets people to click or share because of the ridiculous headline leading to more people viewing the content & the publication bringing in more revenue.
Sure, it's not a clickbait headline in that it's untrue, but it's designed in such a way to significantly draw attention for what I see as garbage reasons.
But, 100 pugs is a bigger attention getter than using a traditional measurement.
Now I want to watch 100 pugs playing in a park.
