@bipolaron @bipolaron "Relocating to Allston are the departments of applied computation, bioengineering, computer science, robotics, and virtually all the SEAS administration (much of it housed at 114 Western, adjacent to the SEC), including the office of Dean Francis (Frank) Doyle. @bipolaron So, uh, I guess Harvard is now competing very directly with MIT in engineering? This is quite the thing: @siderea It seems like about time, Harvard has a lot of funding to buy a lot of very nice equipment and buildings. I'd feel great about seeing it except that somehow grants or patents are going to ruin things. It's sad UMass Amherst is so far, they are really impressive too. |
