‼️ THEY FIXED HIGHLIGHTER BLEND MODES IN 17.1 (FB12223205)

This has been bugging me for years, the highlighter tool would just overlay a stroke at 50% opacity or whatever and would muddy the text underneath. It looks like they fixed this in 17.1 (images 2 and 3)

iOS 16 highlighted text. Yellow stroke over black-on-white text, the stroke turned text a dark yellow color. Compared to the same stroke done in Pixelmator with a multiply blend mode, it looks closer to what a physical highlighter would do — yellow background while text remains black

@samhenrigold This is nice. Can the next bug they fix be in the Notes app where the first word of the first item in a list is always lowercase? This bug has been around for years 😅
