We had to correct our address in Google maps because EVERY SINGLE DELIVERY SERVICE other than the post office used it. And most online sales sites don't give you a choice of delivery service. THAT is what gives Google so much power, not the actions of users.

Being high-minded is great,; dealing with angry misdirected delivery people is not.

All the same, now that the problem is fixed, I'll do as you suggest.
