@Wuzzy +9001%

I think it's bad that #Google is even allowed to request #unpaodLabour by others for #proprietary #SingleVendor & #SingleProvider solutions.

In fact I've seen their shit getting worse and sometimes deliberately routing friends the wrong way into one-way roads, almost causing an accident if they did follow it.

Never had that shit - or #MapVandalism - on #OpenSteetMap!

@kkarhan @Wuzzy Oh, but there're vandalism cases on OSM too. Be it notes, deemed-funny items, or more recently mass edit regarding political views

@JauneBaguette @Wuzzy So like with #GoogleMaps there are cases of political trolling i.e. false businesses being added to "disputed" places [i.e. Lagoira, SADR] ...

@kkarhan @Wuzzy Of course yeah, the difference being that one can have its words on the matter on OSM instead of leaving a note in a blackbox

@JauneBaguette @kkarhan Welcome to the Internet. You'll find trolls everywhere but I think OSM does a good job dealing with it. The trolls are simply outnumbered and I don't think it was ever a huge problem.

The biggest destruction of data happened when OSM switched the license a few years ago and had to throw away a TON of data for legal reasons (but OSM has healed from that by now).
