The whole system only makes sense if you rate instances that you know personally and are convinced of their trustworthiness.

When I got guaranteed and endorsed twice I did not receive any DM. I just checked now. If I had known that I wouldnt have tagged them :( Are you sure?

Yes I am sure. There is an exception if you have set the guarantee as not visible.

Ahh that explains it.. botsinspace has me blocked.. (it was kinda messed up they blocked me then lied to me when i was trying to debug me and told me I wasnt... wasted most of a day only to find out later I was).

Bring this up in the support channels, maybe they can change the channel instance. It should be an instance that does not block anyone.

@Tealk One thing though.. I think you only get the messages if you have claimed the instance... Since all these instances werent claimed and I just garunteed them anyway, I dont think they would have gotten notified. The bot wouldnt know how to reach them.

You can also make a request here and a known entity can then guarantee for you
gui.fediseer.com/solicitations

Since there are only 20 guarantees available per instance, I only use this for instances I know.

I'll check if an instance already has a guarantee before I give it, to get as many on there as possible.

A guarantee can only be issued once anyway, you don't need to check that
