@JenMsft because the tight one was overtightened before the second one got any action at all.

@JenMsft and when you thought you finally got the tight one loose you realise that you unscrewed the nut from the port itself. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

@JenMsft

and the tight one is always the one crowded around other cables, etc and hard to reach...

@JenMsft because the clips were made specifially to be too small for ANYBODIES fingers anyway. It ensured that you had to spend enough time behind the actual behind of your compie to really get to know these ports very very well. (In my dreams I still am haunted by the feeling of numb fingers and the anxiety of "where the bleep is my good screwdriver")

@JenMsft This is literally why all my towers are on the desk, with the front of the computer facing the wall, and the back facing me. Not set up to look pretty, that's for sure.

@JenMsft Lazy people only tightening one of them, so they bend a little bit over time & increase friction by like a million times. Now it's your problem because you're the one working on the machine & they're not.

@JenMsft And when you used a screwdriver to loosen the tight one the plastic would shred itself about half the time!

@JenMsft best USB

Also, why did the ends also have screwdriver slots? Nobody needs their display attached so hard

@patterfloof @JenMsft No, but when they were crammed in between half a dozen other cables and you had large fingers, it sure came in handy...
