@Gargron Well, there are some UX regressions, anyway (huge padding for the menus, forced full height for embedded media, confirmation pop-up for EACH sent post, and no more options to disable or change that…). Having to create custom Stylus rules to fix that on our side is not a normal thing to do. @Gargron Eugen & Mastodon team : @Gargron @ardent_handsaw Loving 4.2. A huge step forward. Thank you Eugen and team for your enduring commitment to advancing the social web. @Gargron @ardent_handsaw the comments are very positive too on that article which is rare. @Gargron @ardent_handsaw Great to hear about the search and cross-instance interaction features. @Gargron @ardent_handsaw lol…if the verge and nilay ‘worked more like they’re supposed to’ they’d be all-in on mastodon 😆🥱 but hey, congrats on the good press – well earned @Gargron @ardent_handsaw With this version, a lof of network errors occur, e.g. when expanding a post to see all replies. It hangs, then the lower left corenr shiows many 'oops..unexpected errors'. The list functionality is broken as well. (e.g. when clicking on the list, the same network errors occur). deleting the lists fixes that. |
@Gargron @ardent_handsaw congrats!
Thanks for mastodon 🐘🤩
