On the other site, I boosted those big accounts that everyone else seemed to be boosting. Now I realized how limiting the content was. It was very canned and contrived.
Agreed. I occasionally peer into the corner of the Twitterverse in which I once lived, with Nitter. What I see is the same larger accounts getting much lower engagement than they once did, and sharing that engagement…with the same 25 active users.
It’s just outrage on a hamster wheel, but when you’re there, you feel like you’re connected to the lifeblood of the universe.
Eventually more people will break free, as they realize there are better places to be…
