Gregory's Server@esther This is all perfectly true but, at the same time, many people are still bigoted against queer folk (particularly trans women) and some of those people will occasionally be BIPOC who are at the same time subject to their own experiences of societal discrimination.
The most recent major discourse about this has arisen from the bad space lists, and in that case, the original complaints were that certain trans instances were listed on the bad space list incorrectly, and that this was an example of systemic transmisogyny. Saying so is not an inherently racist action, even if some of the people involved in running the bad space are Black.
@talopine @esther two wrongs never make a right. Don’t try to rationalise bigotry in any form. Just because a member of such and such group can be a mean or nasty individual, it doesn’t make it okay to disparage and harass their entire community as retaliation.
