@neauoire 😅 as someone who's self-hosted dns, email, www, etc. for about 20 years it's wild how the two public moods seem to be (a) why would you ever bother doing this? and (b) how could anyone have predicted this centralized thing would go bad? |
@neauoire Not all bottlenecks are the same, though. It's reasonable to depend on a bottleneck, as long as you:
* _monitor_ the energy barrier for getting off it, and
* start taking precautions _early_, as the energy barrier starts turning into a steep cliff.
