@smlavine it'll need all 4 bits in in a nibble, 7 syllables and a spacer in the first 3 bits, and then a mod for lb when use with a stop, and plural when used with a syllable. A byte can encode two syllables :) example: @neauoire The translation from the Shavian glyphs to Ascii mostly make sense to me. But for "sol", why did you go for 'z' (resembling forward slash) instead of e.g. 's' (resembling a flipped 'z' or back slash)? @floppy Vincent's stenography for sol is "-", but I wanted to use the verticality of the glyph to indicate the position of the index finger at the top left. I thought 's' resembled too much 'c', also starting at the top-right. |
@neauoire It's asking to be represented in just 3 bits though!
