I saw someone on the sidosi forums mention that the Shavian alphabet had enough glyphs to cover Vincent Gajewski's #solresol stenography script.

𐑴 do
𐑦 re
𐑡 mi
𐑯 fa
𐑳 sol
𐑀 la
π‘ͺ si

example: 𐑳𐑴𐑦𐑡 "theatre"

edit: Oh! Vincent's script is based on the Curwen hand signage! haha

@neauoire Will u be trying to figure out some way to combine the glyphs to form words like Gajewski intended (maybe with some CSS nonsense?) IMO it makes them harder to interpret but look cooler. Also thank u for learning in the open! Got me really interested in conlangs again :]

@eatallyourdarlings I'm glad you're enjoying these posts ^^

I don't think I'm interested in combining them, it does make them harder to parse visually, but it also complexifies the system a lot in terms of implementation. I saw someome who suggested all standard ascii character too, but it's not very nice.

@neauoire I can imagine using ascii characters would be useful for corresponding in solresol in a way that makes it less obvious it’s a conlang, like a lexical encryption that u could train yourself to be able to read. But yeah it’s not very pretty.

@eatallyourdarlings
I've given some more thoughts and found a few symbols that are a bit more readable.

𐑳𐑨𐑴𐑡 𐑡𐑯, or "7jon nz"

@neauoire nice :] now you’re not using special ascii characters u could have a whole file system or website in solresol hehe
