I’ve already shared a bunch of these, but it’s funny to see them all together (the ‘smiling-but-worried’ one is new tho).

I've been struggling with this particular sequence for a long while because the scene takes place at night, and I wasn't sure how to make it look good. I've been on/off it for weeks, mostly cause I was frustrated, but also cause we've been moving the boat a lot.

I think I've finally found something I like :>.

Hakazi and Dae see well in the dark, but the guard doesn't (uses a flashlight to see).

Hit hard in the face, bit violent.

Think I’m getting better at drawing my OCs getting the stuffing kicked out of them.

Not sure they’re glad of it though.

Hakazi getting palmed hard in the head, and not having a very good time overall.

Forever experimenting with this project.
I’m looking to do less on the computer, so I’ve abandoned the idea of shading digitally, and am trying to do it by hand with pencils. So far so good?
