@SeventhMagpie Oh, that's great! My partner just submitted a novel she's been working on for the last five, six years or so. I'm so impressed. And hopefully some publisher will find it publishable.

@SeventhMagpie It's actually a bit difficult to explain. It's not a clear-cut genre. Fictional autobiography. Someone called it "magical realism". It's not always clear what's real and what's not. Among other things, it's about coming to terms with your previous selves. I liked it A LOT and it actually had profound impact on me, how I think of myself and my recent wish to become an IFS therapist. So I really hope it gets published. @bluebirch I hope so, too. Although I've heard that sometimes it can take several submissions to get a book published, and even some bestsellers had to go through this process repeatedly. Anyway, I wish her patience. This book will see its publisher, I'm sure. :) @SeventhMagpie "Which publisher did you sent it to?" "All of them." ๐ |
@bluebirch That's great! People can finish their novels, and that means that I can do it, too! ๐
What is your partner's novel about?
