@AlexVoss @viktor custom icons are the way to go :-) We shouldn't add more and more icon packs as it increases the bundle size every time. Instead, we'll be looking into providing an easier way to install icons in the future.
@squidfunk @viktor In the meantime, can you perhaps add a link from https://squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-material/reference/icons-emojis/ to https://squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-material/reference/icons-emojis/#configuration? The text is already there: "Moreover, custom icons can be added and used in mkdocs.yml, documents and templates."
