If you're looking for a free, open-source alternative to the Font Awesome icon library you should check the MIT-licensed Phosphor icon library. Clean designs, over 7k icons π€― #opensource #foss #icons #alternatives #fontawesome #graphics #ui #ux

@viktor @tournesol oh my god they are so cute π I had just integrated Font Awesome in a small project, Iβll look to switch to this one (sad thereβs no Mastodon icon yet tho)

@viktor I was really dreading this. Many forks pop up. People go to different ones and then you have no really solid one to choose from as the official successor.
@viktor Andrew Kelley has a good take on this: https://andrewkelley.me/post/redis-renamed-to-redict.html
tl;dr: Redis forked itself by doing the license change and the project's legitimate continuation is under the name Redict.
@viktor Kvrocks seems to be Redis compatible. Might be worth a look: https://github.com/apache/kvrocks
