pre-cooked instant rice is an incredibly cool thing, no idea why it’s not sold in Israel at all (apart from rice not being a staple food [directly to forehead] there)

like, you put it into a microwave for 2 minutes and get a perfectly cooked portion of rice, that’s so cool

before that my most prized possession was a rice cooker but now even it is redundant

tho now that I’m in Tokyo there’s so much different rice kinds that a rice cooker is still kinda needed if you want to try them all
