@feditips @owncast Streaming requires bandwidth and lots of it ($$$$$). How are the server farms and the big pipes to the network being funded?

It's cheap enough that people are able to run their own servers, there are no adverts or trackers or anything.
They're paid for out of the pocket of the person running it, and they may have donation links so viewers can help too.
