Open Bay is about a 25 km bike ride or drive for me each way, so you'd have way better access to the north end than I do.
If you end up this way, I'd love to meet up for coffee or the pub (HBI).

 @rek Certainly on the Drew Harbour side, only obstacle is likely the many, many boats parked in there at the moment. People often take dinghys to the beach there from their boats.  @tim_lavoie hey I wanted to say, we didn’t pass by Heriot Bay on the way back down south finally. Would have contacted you otherwise. We’ll probably visit the area again next summer though :)... |
@tim_lavoie we may swing by Rebecca Spit on the way back down, seems like easy land access from there.
