@pixelfed I don't mind Github, if you want as many people to be able to help with the development you have to be at the platform that has the biggest reach. Sure, not all they do will align with everyone's believes, but using the option to kickstart the further development doesn't mean excluding the option to migrate to a more appropriate solution further down the line..

@pixelfed Nice! And yeah, github is ok, offer great services and is by very very far the most used platform, so it's an easy choice, makes little sense to hinder your project just to go 100% on the ideological side, it would be kinda counterproductive to the open source side itself.
