I've been incredibly fortunate to be able to participate in a three day sailing training last week. And I learned so much, not only sailing practice and theory, but also about basic meterology and oceanography, reading and analysing weather forecasts, anchoring, provisioning for passages and more. It was amazing!
The vessel we sailed on is the SV Solstice, a 31 foot full-keeled cutter rig that was hand built within a 10 year time span from a bare hull. She's gorgeous looking and fantastic to sail!
