@djlink Beautiful! Quick question, are you using an OLED TV as a monitor and if yes what model? @djlink ah, the almost square monitor that got a lot of attention awhile back. Are you running it as your secondary or your main? @mingistech secondary atm, but used it as primary for several months, ill probably shift again soon depending on tasks @hk How are you streaming the picture of the camera? I’ve got a bunch of them lying around, and I’d love to be able use one as a webcam! Only thing I’ve seen that does it is this thing, which sticks right out of the Gameboy, so I can see you’re not using that! https://there.oughta.be/a/game-boy-capture-cartridge I use a cheap (10€) HDMI to USB video grabber and a HDMI-Output conversion kit for the Gamboy Advance. There are kits for most consoles. Gameboy Camera -> Gameboy Advance -> HDMI -> USB -> /dev/video0 I also recently saw a post on hackaday that did it with a microcontroller, IIRC. Those are probably just grabbing the raw analog signal from the Camera, though. So no on-screen user Interface. @BeardyKing I really like it too, I tried to go for the full transparent combo why I got the SuperGB 2 adapter for transparent xD @djlink I can’t get out of my mind how cool it would be to resin print a transparent enclosure for the gameboy camera o_o @djlink Needs the printer attached. You have a link cable port for a reason! @kvuzet a OG PAL SNES with a custom transparent shell connected to a retrotink for HDMI clean signal on monitor @djlink 10/10 crying over the beauty of your translucent shells. Here was our setup for Open Sauce. Love Game Boy Camera 💙 |
@djlink 10/10, because that's the number of crisp pixels it's displaying
