Interesting - I can see how you read it that way. I'd meant it not as a "blame the user" thing, but rather "different people post different things; if you're not enjoying the people you are following, you can unfollow, and mute if you need to, and follow people who post stuff that you do enjoy"!

Right. I can just say from my personal experience that it took quite a while to find a critical amount of other users to follow and to be found by people who might want to follow me. It still feels like I'm mostly in my servers bubble.
Telling people to just follow the right people is easier said than done when the tools to find those are limited.
