@sindarina I have a complicated relationship to this as an American trans woman with a Guardian subscription. I really like the Guardian US coverage (good, well-funded, actually politically left newspapers are few and far between) and they're firmly pro-trans liberation whereas every time I peek over to the UK side the transphobia is startling. I'd never pay for the Guardian if Guardian UK was all they had. I wonder about whether it'd be possible to do an EU and UK subscriber revolt without harming the branches of the Guardian that aren't fetid like the UK one is or does it have to be a global revolt for it to work? I appreciate your stance: I just don't know what my role should be...

Also, given the evidence presented, it’s pretty clear that the only effective way to affect change is through the cancellation of subscriptions, especially if everyone who cancels specifically mentions that as the reason.
There is no paywall, so you’d still have the same access as before. Just without contributing to the salaries of the bad apples on staff, or their leadership.
