@ChemicalEyeGuy @Rhodium103 the type of yacht in that picture is worth maybe between €5k to €25k depending on condition and age. I realise not everyone in the world can afford that but it's far from billionaire category. I've lived a subsistence lifestyle aboard such a yacht (home built) my whole life. Most of the sailors I've met with yachts like that are _far_ below median income in their countries or even below the poverty line sometimes. It's unrelated to billionaires' obscene megayachts.
@ChemicalEyeGuy @Rhodium103 on the racing yacht, you're right, that's a very different category. Still relatively small compared to billionaires' megayachts, but _very_ expensive. It's the only time I've heard of that, the rest have been small craft.
