There is likely another door (or doors) that's accessible for mobility devices. A person using a wheelchair wouldn't want to be stuck behind a dozen bikes.

Transit designers with the foresight to accommodate bikes and buggies will already have figured out chairs.

@Mindiell @straphanger there is a ramp that can be folded out from a compartment next to the door. But the wheelchair user needs to contact personnel on the train.
