Rather than overestimate my degrees of freedom to react one way or another to inputs, I try very hard to notice when my initial reactions are beyond my control, which tbh is always. There’s a great deal of distraction available in this self-examination. Distraction, for me, is in the small things of which @malcircuit speaks. If I’m distracted, I am uninterested in those things clamoring for my and everyone’s attention these days. Fook dot shite!
