Periodic reminder: if you find I (or anyone else you follow) boosts too much and it's cluttering your feed, the ... on my profile page has "Hide boosts from..." It's a great way to curate your feed without unfollowing.

@dalias I really wish there was a duration option attached to this feature to "time out" boosts from a user without opting out of them permanently, but having the option is better than not having it!

@dalias okay but that feature is kinda awesome and thanks for the heads up

I'm not able to hide a lot of boosts.. I've tried it jus for specific people but it just doesn't seem to work well for me.

It’s hilarious how many boosts this is getting, sort of proving your point.

@Pomegracias Normally I love boosts, but sometimes you find one person who you want to follow, but who boosts lots of stuff that's uninteresting, upsetting, frustratingly non-actionable, or otherwise just not what you want to see so often. "Hide boosts from..." works great here.

@dalias

Yeah, no question, & your post is super helpful about that. It was just funny to me how many times it was coming up in my feed.

You’ve made me think twice before boosting, too

@dalias I just boosted this even though I understand the irony of doing so.

I wish there was a way to tag boosted toots with some form of "Yeah, seen this one enough, thanks."
