What if you want to talk about ylophones?  @compositor wait is Twitter trying to tack on activity pub and federation with this rebrand? Thatβs what this made me think. (replying to @alexthepres and @compositor) if "tack on" isn't a typo of "take on": converting twitter into a fedi instance would have been neat, and is definitely something I would want if I was the owner (well, that and doing something about the RAMPANT bigotry) if you meant "take on": I think I read someone say they're trying to turn it into a quote-unquote "everything app" ? (even banking???? I wouldn't even trust them with a nickel.) ...isn't a web browser already an "everything app" ?    @compositor @compositor this is not only a good rule for a mastodon instance, it's also important life advice! |
